The Bishop of the NEPA synod of the ELCA, Samuel Zieser will conduct the 9:30AM service at St. John’s Nanticoke, Sunday, November 29th. Bishop Zeiser will retire at the end of the year. Community & Worship- Everyone Belongs

Since 1882, St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church has been a place for members of the Greater Nanticoke area to come together and worship as part of a strong, loving community. Our worship expresses the unity of the people of God and their continuity with Christians across the ages. In the liturgical tradition are the gestures, songs, and words by which Christians have identified themselves and each other.

We’re always happy to see you and warmly welcome visitors.

OUR CHURCH

When you are sitting in a pew at our church you become a full participant in our liturgy. Worship is the work of the people, and at St. John's Lutheran Church, we understand that our worship is a holy work we create with God and with each other.

Our services are aimed to engage you in an experience that will stay with you for a long time. It is not just our worship, but it is our unique community that makes us worth the visit and for many, it is what calls them to stay. We have remained close with our neighborhood through many changes over the years since our founding in 1882. We hear our call to remain in this place and always serve God's people. Get to know us.

We would like to get to know you!
